Dobu Mask enters the high-efficiency mask filter market with MB filter exclusively for N95

Dobu Mask Co., Ltd. (KONEX, 227420) started mass production of high-efficiency MB filters, which are the main raw material of N95 masks for the US industry, and started to supply them in earnest. This is an achievement achieved in just 9 months since the installation and development research of MB filter production facilities began in July of last year.
Although large-scale investments were made, the production of finished products began in earnest with the final electrostatic charging facility. In addition, as a result of the nationally accredited KOTITI test laboratory test, this product recorded 100/100/100 based on the dust collection efficiency (paraffin oil) value, and 100/99/99 as a pretreatment standard that gives extreme environmental conditions, under any circumstances. The result was obtained to block harmful particulate matter or infectious agents such as yellow dust and fine dust at a level of 99.99%. Naturally, it exceeded the domestic health standards, and the results were at a level that can be applied directly to N95 masks, so orders for domestic KF came in and delivery was completed.
Dobu Mask said that testing for application to dust/gas masks as well as Dobu Life Tech's N95 masks is in progress. Donghyuk Kim, CEO of Dobu Mask, said, “Despite the short preparation period, the successful production of MB filters for N95 products is a great achievement that proves the technology of Dobu Mask. It can greatly contribute to the cost reduction of the N95 mask, which will be our main product this year, so we expect a double positive effect, including an increase in sales and a cost reduction effect.”
He also explained that if the mask export negotiations currently underway around the world become visible as a contract soon, the growth rate of last year will be maintained.
