Dobu Mask Co., Ltd. built a mask electrostatic filter (Melt-Blown) production facility in Ansan Smart Hub in June and started operation of the factory for the production of MB filter, which is an important raw material for mask production.

MB filter is a key raw material that determines the quality of a mask, and is a nonwoven filter made by melting a thermoplastic polymer such as polypropylene (PP) and extruding it through a nozzle.

Currently, the construction of 14 production facilities for Dobu Mask has been completed, and mass production is expected to be possible in October. An official from Dobu Mask said, “With the latest automated facilities, we expect that when we enter the mass production stage, we will be able to solve the difficulties in supplying raw materials and the factors that increase the cost, and to be able to reliably supply filters that meet domestic and foreign certifications. said.
